A favorite on going project at Ski Hut is their merch design. From season to season Ski Hut does it all, biking, downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, and snowboarding. Started in 1955 by Wes Neustel Ski Hut is a Duluth MN staple that is still located in it's original building in East Hillside. 

I have drawn inspiration from the community, my own personal experiences, and the history of the shop. Two pieces in the 24/25 winter merch include graphics from 1970's Ski Hut newspaper articles. One, of a couple, I adapted to include a skier and snowboarder instead of two skiers. I love 70's style to begin with so being able to use these graphics was a blast!

The most popular shirt at the shop to date has been our "Support Your Local Bike Shop" tee. Featuring an image of the Executive Director of our trail systems, Cyclists of the Gitchee Gumi, this shirt was designed with the downhill mountain biker in mind. It features a black and gray tie dye textured shirt with a screen printed design in white and a vibrant pink that really pop.
