Krista Holden

Hey there!

I'm a photographer based in Duluth, Minnesota, specializing in snowboard, ski, and mountain bike photography. My passion is capturing the energy and raw beauty of action sports and the outdoor lifestyle. I've had the opportunity to shoot major events like Red Bull Heavy Metal, The Uninvited women’s snowboard competition, and Take The Rake at Trollhaugen Ski Resort. I also coach and photograph for Beyond The Boundaries women’s snowboard camp, traveling across the U.S. to support and represent women in snowboarding through both imagery and mentorship.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota Duluth, which has helped me blend creative direction with technical skill in both photography and design. I currently work as the marketing specialist for Ski Hut here in Duluth, where I manage social media, design graphics for in-house apparel, and capture photo content that reflects the spirit of the store and our community. Outside of action sports, I also photograph small outdoor weddings and engagements, especially for couples who love nature and adventure as much as I do. Whether I'm on the hill, in the woods, or at a trailhead, my goal is always to tell honest, vibrant stories through my lens.
