Beyond The Boundaries Japan Trip 2026

Japan is a bucket list place for most skiers and snowboarders to visit, it can also be overwhelming to plan. Beyond the Boundaries takes the stress of planning out of the trip, offering 8 spots annually on a women only snowboarding adventure to the North Island of Japan. Offering a week of guided snowboarding, including some hikeable side country terrain, and a food experience like no where else, it's worth every dollar. I was able to go along on the trip this year to capture the week in photos as well as assist the other coaches in guiding the week. Day one on snow was the deepest snow I have ever seen in my life. Not only that - it all arrived over night for what will likely be the deepest pow day I will ever experience. In addition to the epic days spent exploring different resorts the Niseko area has to offer we had different local cuisine each night and fun regional pasteries and a continental style breakfast each morning. How could I forget - the onsens! A more peaceful and healing version of a post ride hot tub in America. I could go on and on in words about this trip but I feel that it's captured best in photos.
